Our novel design and construction process allows us to build homes for less than $250/sqft in under 2 months of on-site build time. National average numbers to compare to are $324/sqft and over 9 months of build time.
*These numbers are based on 1-4 units/lot. Your project quote may vary.

Features

Our reduced cost and shorter construction time allows us to invest in quality of life improvements that benefit the inhabitants, surrounding community, and planet. We believe that your home should truly be a sanctuary. Every home we build is designed for optimal comfort, safety, and health quality with the following features.

Net Zero Energy Homes

Our high insulation rating, thermal mass, and energy efficient appliances mean we can provide Net Zero Energy homes, saving residents an average of $2,000/year on utility bills.

ADA Compliant Homes

We believe housing should be accessible to all, which is why our homes follow ADA compliance guidelines. We also encourage reviews and feedback to continually make our home designs more accessible and usable by anyone.

Solar Power & Battery Storage

In order to reduce the reliance on unsustainable power from the grid, every home we build has solar panels with battery storage to provide clean and reliable energy. Our all-electric homes use completely renewable energy to power everything from heating and cooling to hot water to powering your appliances.

Controllable LED Lighting

Reducing energy costs while providing improved lighting solutions, you can control the level, temperature, and color of the lighting in your entire home. We have also simplified the process of putting up Christmas lights by providing controllable LED lights along with built-in gutters so you can have safety lights outside your home and festive lights throughout the year.

Radiant Floor Heating

We provide radiant floor heating in all of our homes, creating an enjoyable and efficient home heating system without relying on burning gas or efficiency losses from traditional HVAC solutions.

All-electric Homes

Our homes are all-electric, meaning we do not rely on gas for any part of the home heating or power requirements. Not only is this a sustainable option, but it allows for lower costs due to not having to connect expensive and dangerous gas lines.

Bug, Mold, & Mildew Resistant

By making a completely air and watertight shell out of geopolymer concrete, our homes are virtually impermeable to bugs and pests. Instead of numerous small holes and gaps that allow ingress, our completely sealed shell prevents intrusions from bugs and pests. Using geopolymer concrete and optimized ventilation and humidification systems prevents the growth of harmful mold.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Our solar and battery-powered homes means it is easy to provide EV-charging stations for personal use. For those with electric vehicles, this is a built-in system that allows at-home charging, meaning less time and money spent at a gas station.

Full-home Water & Air Filtration

Flint, MI has shown us that clean water can no longer be assumed as a given for homes and cities. The EPA is quoted as saying that indoor air quality can be 2-5x worse than outdoors. We believe our homes should be completely healthy and provide a clean indoor environment which is why we include full-home air and water filtration in every home we build.

Triple-pane Windows

To provide the highest level of energy efficiency and sustainability, we provide triple pane windows.

Induction Cooktops

Our drive to provide the safest, healthiest, and most sustainable homes means electric cooktops are required. The health effects of gas stoves as well as the climate damage caused by burning gas means we must use alternate options. The general consensus that traditional electric cooktops are insufficient has led us to use improved induction cook tops to provide exceptional, healthy, and sustainable cooking options.

Public EV Chargers

In addition to personal EV chargers, we provide optional public-facing EV charging stations. With these installed, home owners will have a source of passive income by providing car charging stations right in their neighborhood. Charge your guests’ cars up while they stay or enjoy a double-backup battery for emergency use.

Mesh Network Internet Available

In order to provide the best user experience possible, good internet service is a standard in all of our homes. In addition, we work with service providers to create mesh network internet solutions. This permits residents to become the owners of their own internet and even allows for the possibility of making additional passive income by providing unused internet bandwidth to surrounding areas.

Home Design Process

As a digital-born company, we are skipping past the need for owners to understand complex blueprints and floor plans. Starting with collaborative VR design, we generate a custom kit of components and assembly steps needed for that specific home. Initially, users can choose from one of our base models with a degree of customizability and soon we will be allowing users to participate fully to build their own custom dream homes.

Virtual Reality-based design

We start with VR-based design to allow collaboration and fast iteration on designs. Using geo-mapping data, we can view the home "in-place" virtually and visualize every aspect of the final design. Walking through a virtual model and seeing how the sun shines throughout the day and year, we can change walls and windows to ensure an optimized home is designed before it is too late.

Using a VR headset or just a computer interface, every stakeholder can be involved in the process, without having to decipher blueprints and floor plans.

Digital analysis and structural engineer

Digital analysis & structural engineering

Once the initial home design has been crafted, we take that model and use our software suite to perform a variety of structural analyses to determine the feasibility of the proposed design. This allows us to foresee any issues that may arise. Once finished, the software suite produces a custom Bill of Materials needed to make that specific home.

Our custom software provides full Building Information Modeling (BIM), allowing every aspect of the home to be engineered to precision and designed for optimal comfort and health.

With an engineered and analyzed finished home design, we can easily create all the documentation required to apply for permits and provide all the data and calculations to streamline the permitting process.

Augmented Reality walk-through

Throughout the process, users can view the home on-site through our 3D visualizer in Augmented Reality (AR). Virtually walking through the home allows them to see and feel what the final home will look like on-site. Not only does this reduce design review time, it also provides maximum troubleshooting before the fact ━ you can walk through and realize that the late summer sun through the SE corner window will shine right in the eyes of whoever is sitting in the living room or that the nice view you thought you had from the kitchen is blocked by the neighbor's bushes. This way, fixes can be identified and changes can be made well before the cost of doing so becomes prohibitive.

The perfect combo of pre-manufactured & just-in-time manufacturing

We can use our standard library of "vanilla bricks" for the majority of the structure. These can be pre-manufactured and delivered to the site or made right there on-site, whichever is better suited for that build and location.

Our automated manufacturing process allows for fast production that can happen year-round, as it is not reliant on weather or site restrictions. If appropriate, we can maximize lean manufacturing techniques to produce bricks right there on-site, as well as manufacturing any custom or unique bricks needed utilizing our 3D printing capabilities.

The most optimized construction process...ever

With our custom Bill of Materials in-hand, we can create optimized on-site assembly instructions for that specific build.

Using virtual avatars, we can run through the on-site build process hundreds of times to determine the most efficient way to build that home on that lot...before ever setting foot there.

Once these simulations have been done, we will know exactly how to build that house as quickly as possible without worrying about conflicts between individual steps of the process or having to wait for parts to show up to continue work. What might take a trained team of contractors dozens of years to learn, we can apply to each project individually in a matter of hours.

Quick & easy assembly

With the custom list of bricks and parts in-hand, as well as the streamlined assembly instructions, it is simply a matter of following the directions to put the pieces together.

Like a LEGO® block kit or IKEA furniture, our team of workers merely have to take the parts provided and put them together as directed. This results in an on-site construction time of less than 2 months, from initial sitework to move-in ready.

A home for any product

By reducing manufacturing and construction costs, we can not only pass those savings on to the customer but invest in sustainable and healthy options.

We have designed our system to be compatible with the healthiest and most sustainable options to build with, ensuring our system will work for current inhabitants and future generations. As standard, we include products that meet our rigorous health and sustainability metrics. Our flexible manufacturing method means we are capable of integrating with a wide variety of home systems and products.
