We are a values-driven organization, focused on our impact on our customers, employees, community, and the health of the planet. We are a public benefit corporation and are working towards B-corp certification.

There Needs To Be A Change

The construction industry has been pushed past its breaking point and now cannot keep up with demand, forcing developers and builders into a race to the bottom and sacrificing efforts towards sustainability and health quality for lower upfront costs.

Our Vision

Because construction costs account for over half the total price of a home, improving the construction process is the best way to address the housing crisis. Our vision is to completely redefine what a home needs to provide to its inhabitants and have designed a completely novel construction process, optimized to build that new type of home.

Reduce Construction Costs

As construction costs are over half of the sales price, reducing these costs can not only address the main problem of affordability, but allow for investment in sustainable, healthy materials and products.

Innovate the Construction Industry

Combining tried and true materials like geopolymer concrete with modern technologies like 3D printing and robotic construction, we can provide safe homes through innovative processes. We are updating this outdated industry to the latest technological advances providing improved efficiency and worker productivity.

Reduce Carbon Emissions

By addressing not only home energy efficiency but embodied carbon emissions, we ensure that the homes we build are not harming the environment. All of our materials and processes have been optimized for healthy indoor environments.

Simplify Home Design & Construction

Our design system allows anyone to have a part in designing their home, without having to read blueprints or know CAD software. Our easy assembly process removes the need for skilled labor, reducing costs while providing safe and reliable construction jobs.

Build Healthy Homes

By using certified healthy and transparent building materials and filtering air and water as it comes into the home, we are providing healthy indoor environments.

End-to-End Digitization

Starting with 3D modelling and AR/VR design, we remove the errors and time associated with paper 2D design. A digital twin of every building, with full BIM allows for direct translation to automated manufacturing. Simplifying the on-site construction process allows for fully robotic manufacturing and construction.

Our Commitment to SDGs

We have adopted the UN's Sustainable Development Goals as core principles in all our endeavors. Our efforts directly achieve many of these goals.

How do we target this SDG?

Shelter is a basic human necessity, not a luxury item that can be left out of the budget when costs rise. The cost of housing is directly related to the cost of living and by reducing housing prices, we can help reduce one of the biggest costs and drivers of poverty.

Flint, MI is only one example of how our assumed access to clean water is not always the case. By filtering the whole home’s water source at the point of entry we can ensure that the water being used is truly clean and healthy.

How do we target this SDG?

Recent housing supply has been focused almost exclusively on the upper end of the market meaning there is diminishing supply of housing for those struggling the most. By providing housing specifically targeted at the entry-level market, we are helping to close the housing gap.

How do we target this SDG?

We spend 90% of our lives indoors and the built environment we live in directly affects our health and wellbeing. We are using exclusively healthy and sustainable building materials with a focus on designing homes for optimal resident mental and physical health.

How do we target this SDG?

Our homes are all-electric and completely powered by renewable solar energy with battery backup. This guarantees access to reliable, clean energy in every home without relying on the power grid.

How do we target this SDG?

Every home we build will be Net Zero Energy and powered by renewable sources. Following ADA guidelines and with an eye to community-level design, we aim to build homes and communities that are clean and accessible to all.

How do we target this SDG?

Where you live defines what schools and education your child has access to. By building “missing middle” housing across neighborhoods and counties, we help ensure quality education is accessible to all.

How do we target this SDG?

By directly building homes and buildings, we are contributing to healthy and sustainable cities that will stand the test of time. Our construction process allows for many more types of people to be involved in the building process than traditional construction, providing more diversity of input and innovative buildings of the future.

How do we target this SDG?

Homes and construction are responsible for 40% of global greenhouse gases. By building Net Zero Energy homes and using sustainable construction practices, we target both of these heavy climate-impacting industries.
